The Black Genome Project (BGP), in collaboration with its Community Curators and Community Advisory Board, will present A Blueprint of Us: Blackness, Ancestry, and Identity, a new exhibition exploring how Black St. Louisans understand, value, and relate to their DNA and genetic data. The exhibition opens at INDEX at The Luminary on September 4, 2026, and at The Griot Museum of Black History on September 5, 2026, running through the first week of October.

Presented across both venues, A Blueprint of Us brings together mixed-media work from 12 St. Louis artists — Adrian Octavius Walker, Damon Davis, Dail Chambers, Collin W. Elliott, Destini L. Elliott, Ymani Wince, Jen Everett, KaVan Ward, Chanel Thomas, Yandra Mariano, Brittni Mosby, and SYDNEY OREOLUWA — spanning photography, painting, sculpture, collage, audio installation, and multimedia work.
