A Blueprint of Us:
BLACKNESS, ANCESTRY, & IDENTITYThe Black Genome Project (BGP), in collaboration with its Community Curators and Community Advisory Board, will present A Blueprint of Us: Blackness, Ancestry, and Identity, a new exhibition exploring how Black St. Louisans understand, value, and relate to their DNA and genetic data. The exhibition opened at INDEX at The Luminary on September 4, 2026, and runs through October 10.
A Blueprint of Us brings together mixed-media work from 12 St. Louis artists — Adrian Octavius Walker, Damon Davis, Dail Chambers, Collin W. Elliott, Destini L. Elliott, Ymani Wince, Jen Everett, KaVan Ward, Chanel Thomas, Yandra Mariano, Brittni Mosby, and SYDNEY OREOLUWA — spanning photography, painting, sculpture, collage, audio installation, and multimedia work.
